A dealership reset isn’t required here in the States after changing spark plugs. Nor is it required to go to the dealer for a reset, regardless of the reason. All it takes to reset is disconnecting the battery for a while.

So I reset the ecu just to try and it was still idling rough and smelled very rich. if its rumbling then you may have a misfire. Its possible you didn’t seat one of the coils all the way down on to the plug, or if you disconnected any of the harness from the coil packs then maybe it didn’t get plugged back up properly.
