On Friday, C-USA announced that it will be adding Jacksonville State, Liberty, New Mexico State and Sam Houston State beginning on July 1, 2023. Those programs will join the 3 schools that are likely to be the only ones remaining in the conference — Florida International, Louisiana Tech and UTEP.
