How do I see 3D buildings in Google Earth?

- Open Google Earth Pro.
- In the left panel, select Layers.
- Next to “Primary Database,” click Right Arrow .
- Next to “3D Buildings,” click Right Arrow .
- Uncheck any image options you don’t want to see.
- Go to a place on the map.
- Zoom in until you see buildings in 3D.
- Explore the area around you.
Why are some cities not 3D in Google Earth?
We do not have a set refresh schedule for 3D imagery. Also, not all 3D imagery will be updated and some may be replaced with newer 2D imagery that is more useful. However, for key markets and for coverage expansion we make a continual best effort to refresh and expand our 3D imagery coverage.

There are several generations of 3D buildings! If have ‘tarrain’ ticked, should get the full 3D photogrammetry based 3D buildings. Ie the ‘3D’ of buildings etc, is baked into the terrain data, so should cover everthing (in the areas it covers!)
