These letter tiles are used in both the All About Reading and All About Spelling programs. We recommend that you add magnets (sold separately) to the back of these letter tiles so you can use them on a magnetic board.
How do you tile letters?
The person who goes first places a word down using the letter tiles. The next person then has to create a word using at least one of the letters from the first player. Each time a player plays letters they need to pick up the same amount of tiles as the put down from the letter tile pile.
How long does a level of All About Spelling take?
I break each step into teachable chunks such that each step takes generally 2-4 days to complete. In our homeschool, we choose to do one level per year even if we finish spelling earlier than other subjects.
