Where will the city rail link go?
The CRL is a 3.45km twin-tunnel underground rail link up to 42 metres below the Auckland city centre. It will transform the downtown Britomart Transport Centre into a two-way through-station that better connects the city’s rail network.

Is Mt Eden train station open?
The busy Mt Eden Train Station will be closed for about four years to allow for work on Auckland’s City Rail Link. The station will be closed from June next year to 2024, allowing for underground tunnelling and a complete upgrade of the station itself.
