L1R5 takes into account your first language (L1) & five other relevant subjects (R5), which must include at least 1 subject from math, science & humanities. To enter a Junior College, you must meet these 2 criteria: Your L1R5 must not exceed 20
What is L1R4 grade for MTL?
Subjects in L1R4 (L1R4 = First Language + 4 Relevant Subjects) Grades for both Higher MTL (such as Higher Chinese, Higher Malay and Higher Tamil) and MTL (such as Chinese, Malay and Tamil). For example, if Higher MTL is used as the first language, MTL cannot be used as a relevant subject.
Should Cl2 be included in L1R5?
All along, CL2 or HMT has never been in the L1R5 computation. A pass is required is not the same as being included in the L1R5. But of course if your kid happen to get A1 for the CL2 at ‘O’ Level, it is okay to put that in as part of L1R5 as u need a contrasting subject even in the R5 part of the L1R5.
What is L1R5 in GCSE English?
L1R5 = First language (EL) grade plus the relevant 5 subjects’ grade A1 is best, C6 just passed, D7 is considered failed so, L1R5 should be as low as possible : lowest is 6, but after subtracting 2 points for CCA, 2 points for affiliation : technically lowest possible is 2 points out of L1R5 !!
