A Levels. A Level module exams and courseworks are worth a set number of UMS marks. These modules and courseworks for a specific A Level combine to give a total UMS mark. For example, an A level Chemistry course might consist of 4 exams worth 90 UMS and 2 exams worth 120 UMS, totalling a maximum of 600 UMS.

    Reformed Ofqual accredited A levels are linear in their structure and are designed to be delivered over two-years with terminal exams and, in some cases, non-exam assessment.     How do I find the UMS for my grade?

    Firstly find where your raw mark lies between, and thus your grade. If your mark lies on the grade boundary, then your UMS is just the minimum UMS for the grade (see the tables above).

    How do I convert a UMS mark back to a raw mark?

    NB it is not possible to directly convert a UMS mark back to a raw mark as sometimes there are multiple raw marks for each UMS mark.
