The park was re-branded as Six Flags Ohio in 2000. Six Flags purchased SeaWorld Ohio, on the opposite side of Geauga Lake, for $110 million in 2001. The park would later close after being sold to Cedar Fair and reverting back to Geauga Lake, but they would continue to operate the Wildwater Kingdom waterpark until 2016.

SeaWorld was sold to Six Flags in 2000. Geauga Lake closed forever in September 2007. Wildwater Kingdom was a water park which Cedar Fair operated on the former SeaWorld property from 2005 to 2016. I included historical photos and tried to show the approximate locations of former rides or features.
