Does Carvin still make guitars?
Both Kiesel Guitars and Carvin Guitars are still going strong, though. Apparently, this liquidation only applies to the amps and the pro audio company, which was originally part of the same family but split off into separate companies years ago. It will, of course, be missed, but the instruments company is still around.

Everyone has owned or played a femder. I’d say at any particular price point they are as good or better than any other similarly priced one.
