What is PPS midyear?
Personnel Placement Service (PPS) is the industry’s largest and most widely attended national pharmacy recruitment event held annually at the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting. The PPS online system, used in advance of the meeting to schedule interviews, will remain unchanged.

Do I need to go to midyear?
And if you’re doing PPS, you need to go to Midyear. Several fellowships may also have social events/receptions after their interviews – if you’re invited to attend, it’s a great way to get to know the people involved with the fellowship! Many fellowships offer phone interviews as an alternative to PPS.
Is PPS necessary for PGY2?
It will save you a lot of time and effort in the end. I would absolutely recommend doing PPS for PGY2.
How do I prepare for PPS?
When preparing for PPS, it is important to know what to pack in your suitcase. Professional attire is appropriate for all, including a suit for both males and females. Additionally, a padfolio will be beneficial to store prepared questions and for note taking during or after the session.
