So, I now own two new EF-S 18-135 US nano USM lenses…..and one new EF-S 18-135 IS STM. (long story, another time) These models are very confusing since the nano USM is often more expensive and marketed as the upgrade. Both lenses seem to weight the same, with the STM being a tad lighter.
