Is glencadam peated?
Traditionally, the fires used to dry the barley were fuelled by peat. Peat imparts a smokiness onto the barely, which is found in the flavour and aroma of the final spirit. Glencadam does not use any peated barley and as a result our whisky has a creamy and pure yet complex taste and character.
Is clynelish a peaty?
It’s said to be a coastal Highland whisky, and it is actually lightly peated, but don’t go expecting an Islay or Island-style experience here. In fact experienced peated whisky drinkers will find it difficult to detect any trace of peat whatsoever.

Being the successor to the now silent Brora distillery is no easy tasks, but this 14 year old bottling certainly lives up to it. It is well rounded with a superb mouthfeel from being non-chill-filtered and bottled at 46%, and we won’t hesitate to call it one of the best entry level single malts on the market.

Is Glen Garioch peaty?
