JW Blue Label always was a special treat. In recent years it tastes like the blend consists mainly of heavy Islay malts, way out of proportion. I rember the days when it was advertised as especially for Japan export with numbered bottles and all. Overpriced and apparently not exclusive anymore.

Very much enjoying the Blue label. Lovely on the nose, yet not overwhelming. Very smooth on the palate, and the finish is subtle (especially the smoke), but very long. I really enjoyed it.
