What is an audiological report?
The purpose of an Audiology Report is to help parents, interventionists, and physicians understand an individual’s hearing status. Sometimes it is difficult for an audiologist to write a report that is meaningful and useful to all three audiences, which can make the report difficult to understand as a parent.
Can you claim audiology on Medicare?
There are currently no audiology services, such as hearing tests or wax removal, listed as being claimable against Medicare unless patients have been referred under certain conditions by their GP or their medical specialist eg ENT or Neurologist.
