UREC is a national leader in the development and use of student learning outcomes in the field of collegiate recreation. The department offers over 300 non-credit educational programs a year as well as credit-based courses.

How do you use UREC lockers?
Lockers are for use by rental only at the Equipment Center. Unauthorized use of rental lockers is prohibited and items will be confiscated. Day lockers are located in the hall on the way into the Aquatics Center. Lock is included in the contract price and is required to remain on the locker at all times.
Does JMU have a gym on campus?

Who can use the Urec?
*UREC Community memberships are available to anyone who is not a University of Arkansas student, faculty, staff or affiliate. Members of the Arkansas Alumni Association (AAA) are eligible for a 10% discount on main member membership prices. Member must present a current AAA card to receive discount.
Is the Urec free for LSU students?
Full-time: All currently enrolled, full-time LSU students are eligible to use LSU UREC by presenting their Tiger Card at the entry station. UREC fees are included in the full-time tuition-fee bill paid directly to the Office of Bursar Operations at the current student rate.

In 1996, UREC was constructed to meet the demands of a student body of 12,500. With a student body now close to 20,000, the need for an expansion has been pressing for 5-10 years.

Can you bring a guest to the Urec?
Guest Passes Any individual who wishes to utilize UREC facilities or programs must be a current UREC member or purchase a guest/day pass regardless of age. UREC members are allowed up to three (3) guests per day at the rate of $10 per guest.
