What is Vertrel?
What is Vertrel?
Vertrel™ XF specialty fluid is a proprietary hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) fluid with zero ozone-depletion potential (ODP). It also is ideally suited for many specialty applications, including as a particulate cleaner, fluorocarbon lubricant or adhesive carrier, heat transfer fluid, and dielectric fluid.
Is Vertrel flammable?
Safety/Flammability Vertrel™ MCA exhibits no closed cup or open cup flash point and is not classified as a flammable liquid by NFPA or DOT. In addition, the product has no vapor flammability limits in air. Users should ensure compliance with NFPA standards and local fire codes.
What is Vertrel MCA?
Vertrel™ MCA specialty fluid is a proprietary azeotrope of Vertrel™ XF and trans-1,2 dichloroethylene. Its enhanced solvency makes it very effective for precision and specialty cleaning challenges and is designed for use in a vapor degreaser. It is compatible with metals and most plastics and elastomers.
What are vertrel™ fluid cleaners?
The Vertrel™ fluid portfolio offers products with high solvency to clean a wide variety of hard-to-clean soils without damaging the substrate or leaving behind residue. They are often used in a vapor degreaser, and are ideal for cleaning parts that have complex shapes or holes that would trap other solvents or water.
What is vertrel™ SDG?
Vertrel SDG is an engineered mixture of nonflammable hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and trans-1,2-dichloroethylene (t-DCE). Vertrel ™ SDG is designed to replace trichloroethylene (TCE) and n-propyl bromide (nPB); and perform in applications where maximum cleaning power is needed.
What is vertrel MCA used for?
Vertrel MCA. Vertrel MCA is ideally suited for critical cleaning applications in modern, tight vapor degreasing equipment. It has “zero” ozone-depletion potential and a moderate global warming potential.
Can verticalvertrel MCA degreaser replace NPB?
Vertrel MCA Degreaser can replace nPB is some applications. It also can replace old-style solvents such as CFC-113, hydrochlorofluorocarbons (ex. HCFC-225), and perfluorocarbons (PFCs) in many applications. If you are requesting pricing, please specify in the message body below and one of our product specialists will reply promptly.
