When child prodigy Ofra Harnoy was 9 years old, she wrote to the Star’s Today’s Child column wishing to adopt a little sister. The globetrotting cellist, who only once had a sleepover, at age 12, and who never attended a prom or a school dance, grew up lonely.
How many children does Joanna Harnoy have?
She fulfilled that dream and has two children, a boy, 14, and a daughter, 11, upon whom she has showered her love and energy. Eight years ago, her mother developed leukemia and Harnoy cared for her until her death five years ago.
