Overall- Eyeshield 21 is a good but also incomplete anime adaption. Personally I think its a good way to get more people interested in the series and quite possibly even get them to read the manga. There are quite a few episodes but for someone looking for good character development, this is a good investment.

Main characters are similiar in both looks and characters. They are funny and enjoyable story’s that are good to watch after some heavy series Berserk/Gungrave/ X TV. And most of all they are a long running series, Eyeshield has already 130+ eps and Hitman is closing in to 100 episodes. Sakuragi has hit an all-time low.
