In June 2019 the redevelopment of the new Surf Beach Complex at Ocean Grove Main Beach was completed. The complex is a valuable community asset that is designed to blend into the natural landscape and provides modern functional facilities for both now and into the future.
What happened to the surf beach complex?
The Surf Beach Complex was redveloped as the original surf complex building was worn out from over 20 years of use by the Ocean Grove Surf Lifesaving Club and visitors to the Dunes restaurant. Surf club membership was booming and the facilities in the old building did not meet the needs of the club into the future.
