Can an angry ego state be in seclusion until it emerges?
This dynamic of the angry ego state being in seclusion until it emerged after being triggered has been validated and clearly demonstrated to me by Mary’s foster mother, who observed this pattern in Mary’s behaviors. Ego states often were first created when the individual was young. Accordingly, they think concretely like a child.
