How do I connect my Sensi thermostat to SmartThings?
To directly control your Sensi thermostat from the SmartThings app:
- Open the SmartThings app.
- Tap on the + sign.
- Tap Add device.
- Tap Thermostat.
- Tap Sensi.
- Tap on Sensi Smart Thermostat.
- You’ll need to select a location in your home and a room to put them.
- Enter your Sensi email and password and tap Sign In.

The Sensi is a great thermostat well worth it’s low price tag. We love the low cost, ease of installation, and the way you don’t really sacrifice anything by going with this “budget” model. The Sensi runs on two AA batteries, so it doesn’t need a separate power wire. The batteries should last more than a year, and there’s a battery level icon on the Sensi’s display. Setup was easy and took about 15 minutes.

Are temperature limits available with the Sensi thermostats?
Sign into Sensi Multiple Thermostat Manager on a compatible web browser. Click on the thermostat tile to go to the details page. Click on “More settings” to see this thermostat’s advanced settings. in Settings, adjust the Heat and Cool Temperature Limits. Scroll down and “Save changes”.
Does the Sensi Wi-Fi thermostat have a backlight?
The Sensi Smart Thermostat has a backlight button on the very top of the thermostat, in the center. When the button is pressed, the backlight will illuminate the display screen for about 10 seconds.
