It cannot be performed with the IPPE, as it is a part of the IPPE and cannot be billed separately. You must perform the PHQ-9 not the PHQ-2 in order to bill the code.

The G0444 is being paid by Medicare. We are being reimbursed for it. It should be done with the annual wellness visit. I apologize it is not reimbursed with the G0402 or G0438, only the G0439. The Depression screening is bundled and included in the charges for G0402 and G0438.
