I absolutely love the Korg Minilogue XD. Sounds much better than the original Minilogue imo and I owned one for about 2 years. So glad I decided to sell that to upgrade to the XD. Onboard effects were a fantastic add on, they sound great, way better than having to plug in stompboxes for delay, reverb, and modulation.
Whats the difference between minilogue and minilogue XD?

Great Keyboard for Collection and Just Awesome! The WaveState is very easy to use and really does allow for some cool sounds. Some of the stock sounds that it comes with are just fantastic for reminiscing about the old 80 sounds. It can be warm or bright, but offers also a ton of tweaking to the sounds.

If you can only have one, the Minilogue is much more diverse. You could easily build full songs with it. They sound different, also ms20 is monophonic, a least some odysseys had duophonic mode, even tho were mono (someone correct me on this, i only use odyssei app and drooled some over some of its hardware) and minilogue is polyphonic.

I reqlly like how odyssey (and odyssei) sound like, you can get some really nice basses and leads with it. Ms 2 is pretty much for the same stuff, but i prefer how odyssey sounds (ms20 sounds great too). Minilogue is more aimed to playing chords and sounds you play with multiple keys at the same time.
