How do I check my Idnyc status?
You can check your application status by using the Online Portal. Select the “Check your Application Status” option on the dashboard. You will need to enter your IDNYC Number, or you can enter your Application Number if you submitted an online application.
What documents are needed for NYC ID?
You will need to provide at least four (4) points of documents, including:
- Proof of your identity: at least three (3) points.
- Proof of where you live: one (1) point.
- At least one document should have your photo. One should also have your date of birth.

How long does it take to get a NYC ID?
Your IDNYC card will be mailed to your home in 10-14 business days. If you do not have an address or have security concerns about an address appearing on your IDNYC card, you will be able to pick up your card at the Enrollment Center where you applied 15 business days later.
