Can you drive to Glass beach Port Townsend?
Drive to North Beach parking lot: 5887 Kuhn Street, Port Townsend, WA 98368. Hike west from the parking lot for around 3 miles. Google Maps measures the distance as 2.6 miles in a straight line, but you can see a curve in the beach so allow for the extra distance. Once you round the bluff, you’re on Glass Beach.

When the tide goes out, the water moves to a place between the sun and the moon which is out at sea, away from the beach. When the tide comes in the water moves to a place between the sun and moon which is over land. The sea cannot come over the land so it builds up as a high tide against the beach!
