Is ago free on Wednesday?
AGO Free Wednesday Nights Free admission to our collection galleries every Wednesday from 6-9 pm is a longstanding tradition. Free General Admission tickets must be booked in advance, online. To receive your free ticket, you will need a valid email address. A maximum of four (4) tickets can booked at one time.

How long can you stay at the AGO?
You’ve got 15 minutes to enter the gallery from the time on your ticket, but feel free to stay as long as you like. Due to COVID-19 health and safety regulations, groups who wish to enter together must be no larger than 10 people. Please practice social distancing and keep your group together when inside the AGO.

The AGO allows photography for personal use only, except where indicated. We ask that you respect the rights of artists and their representatives under Canadian copyright law. Selfie sticks are not permitted.
Can you bring drinks in Ago?
Food and drink are not permitted in the Galleries. Sealed water bottles and baby bottles are allowed into gallery spaces but must be consumed in Walker Court or Galleria Italia. Should you wish to have privacy and a quiet space, a breastfeeding area is available on Level 2 in Gallery 231.
What is the difference between AGO membership and annual pass?
A single-visit ticket for adults is $25 for the AGO Collection and all special exhibitions. An AGO Annual Pass is only $10 more, and includes unlimited access for an entire year.

The AGO is at the corner of Dundas Street and Beverley Street on your right side. The St. Patrick stop on the Yonge-University-Spadina line is the closest stop to the AGO entrance. It is 3 blocks from University or a 5 minute walk. St. Patrick is also an accessible subway station with an elevator.

Please book timed-entry tickets in advance prior to visiting the Gallery. Access to the AGO Collection is included in every timed-entry ticket. Admission includes Collections and Special Exhibitions. Special Exhibitions have first-come, first-serve entry and have a capacity limit.
