What is apixaban and how does it work?
What is apixaban? Apixaban is used to lower the risk of stroke caused by a blood clot in people with a heart rhythm disorder called atrial fibrillation. Apixaban is also used after hip or knee replacement surgery to prevent a type of blood clot called deep vein thrombosis (DVT), which can lead to blood clots in the lungs (pulmonary embolism).
How do I get Started with meshcentral?
Get started by installing a MeshCentral server of your own or if you are not familiar with MeshCentral, you can try the public server at your own risk at MeshCentral.com. You can install your own server on Linux or Windows, it will run on anything from a large cloud instance to a Raspberry Pi. This is still beta code.
What ports does meshcentral use?
By default, MeshCentral will use TCP ports 80 (HTTP), 443 (HTTPS) and 4433 (Intel® AMT CIRA). The installer will add Windows Defender Firewall rules to allow incoming connections on these ports. In addition, if the server is in LAN or Hybrid mode, an addition rule on UDP port 16990 is added to allow for server discovery.
Does meshcentral support let’s encrypt?
MeshCentral has built-in support for Let’ Encrypt. For large scale deployments or setup, a legitimate trusted certificate is highly recommended for your web server. This way, any web browser that navigates to this web server will be able to readily verify its authenticity.

How do you take apixaban after surgery?
Apixaban comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It is usually taken with or without food twice a day. When apixaban is taken to prevent DVT and PE after hip or knee replacement surgery, the first dose should be taken at least 12 to 24 hours after surgery.
