Is Sandrena gel safe?
Sandrena is for use in postmenopausal women only. If you become pregnant, stop using Sandrena and contact your doctor. No studies on the effects of Sandrena on the ability to drive and use machines have been performed. Sandrena contains propylene glycol, which may cause skin irritation.
Where is Sandrena applied?
The Sandrena dose is applied once daily on the skin of the lower trunk of the right or left thigh, on alternate days. The application surface should be 1-2 times the size of a hand. Sandrena should not be applied on the breasts, on the face or irritated skin.
When is the best time to apply Sandrena gel?
The gel needs to be applied once daily. If used with Prometrium, it is suggested that both products are used at night, as there is some evidence that Prometrium has a sleep stabilising effect. Once Sandrena Gel has been applied daily for about a month, then the effect can be assessed.
