All new research applications, including exempt applications, must be submitted to the JHM IRB for review through eIRB. eIRB is an informatics tool that supports electronic, on-line submission of applications to the Johns Hopkins Medicine IRBs.

This online course provides a broad overview of the ethical background for regulations in human subjects research, as well as an overview of the IRB review requirements to be met before a human subjects research project may begin. This course is administered through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI).
What does an IRB faculty member do?

Will the JHM IRB track completion of my HIPAA Privacy course?
