With the recent COVID-19 pandemic and in line with government guidelines, popular attraction Trentham Monkey Forest have announced they will be closing from today.
Do you have to pre-book Monkey Forest?
Pay on the Day tickets can be purchased at the gate but they are a little bit more expensive. If you already have tickets, gift vouchers, complimentary tickets or a membership, you do not need to pre-book online, you can just turn up with your tickets.
How long is the walk around Monkey Forest?
Visitors walk along the 3/4 of a mile pathway. Walk, watch and be AMAZED as the endangered monkeys live as they would in the wild. Situated in an ancient Staffordshire forest Trentham Monkey Forest is the perfect day out for all ages.

Do you have to wear a mask at Monkey World?
Monkey World’s policy is that everyone over the age of 3 must wear a mask, covering or visor/ shield when visiting the park. Our primates are at risk of contracting Covid- 19 and we must do everything in our power to protect them, and of course, our staff who are in close proximity with them.
Can you take a picnic to the monkey Forest?
Picnic Area Enjoy a picnic in one of our lovely picnic areas. Please note, that food is strictly prohibited in the monkey enclosure, we recommend you leave your picnic in the car, and collect it when ready.

Can dogs go in monkey world?
Only assistance dogs allowed in the park.
Can you smoke at Monkey World?
Smoking is only permitted in one of the designated areas; we would kindly ask visitors to refrain from smoking in any other area of the park. Whilst inside the Park all visitors must comply with any instructions given to them by Monkey World staff and management.

What are the opening times for monmonkey World?
Monkey World is open every day except Christmas Day, from 10am to 5pm. During July and August, opening times extend from 10am to 6pm. Last admission is 1 hour before closing.

What has happened to Monkey World?
This has been an extremely difficult time for all, and certainly the biggest challenge Monkey World has faced in its 33 year history. We are very grateful to those who have continued to support us by renewing their adoption during closure, as your adoption funds have enabled us to continue and survive.
