Stashes are special chests found in towns. They allow you to score Gear you’ve found. While adventuring, you may occasionally encounter good weapons or armor that your character isn’t strong enough to use.
How do you duplicate items in Torchlight 2?
Duping in Torchlight 2:
- Drop items to be duped in shared stash.
- Save and quit. Make a copy of sharedstash.
- Start game again, take items from shared stash and place in inventory. Save and quit.
- Replace sharedstash. bin (which is now empty) with the copy you made in step 2.
- Log in and retrieve copies of items.
- Profit.

Nothing it does interacts with any others at all. It doesn’t share a stash with anything, it doesn’t share a crafting inventory with anything. All hardcore (non-solo) characters share a stash with each other.

The shared stash is a new feature. It is 10×10 squares across (100 one square slots). The images so far seem to show different numbers of tabs available, so we don’t know what the full capacity is yet. Ladder characters can’t mix with non-ladder, offline can’t use with online characters etc.

In Outriders, it is possible to create more than one hero on a single account, so transferring items to another character may prove useful. To move an item, open the stash and move the item you are wearing to the stash. Now you can switch to another character and you can pick up that item from the stash.

You can create more than one Seasonal character during a Season, and those characters do share a stash, Paragon progression, and gold. They will not share any of those with any non-Season characters, but they will share amongst each other.

Some sets may feature more items than the number required to obtain all of the set’s bonuses; equipping more than the required number of items does not confer any additional bonus.
