The gPant does not have a waterproof lining, just the gPouch which snaps inside the gPant. gDiaper is a hybrid system.
How do you clean a newborn Gdiaper?
Here’s how to wash them:
- Remove the pouch from the gPants.
- Close the velcro tabs on the gPants so they don’t come undone and snag other bits of clothing.
- Using a detergent of your choice, machine wash the gPants and pouches in warm or cold water.
- For gPants, line dry (out of direct sunlight) or machine dry.

Ideal for use when on the go, simply lay the liner flat over your cloth nappy insert, once soiled shake waste into the toilet and then dispose of liner in the bin or compost.
Which inserts are best for cloth diapers?
Microfiber. Microfiber is the most common material used in inserts and the most economical. Microfiber inserts absorb liquid quickly and dry quickly. However, they tend to flatten over time which reduces their absorbency, and they’re prone to compression leaks.
