What does the SoundTouch app do?

The SoundTouch® app lets you control your Bose® SoundTouch® system from your smartphone, tablet or computer. Use the app to explore Internet radio, music services or your music library. Start streaming music instantly, or use the app to easily personalize your system’s presets to your favorite music content.

How do I program my Bose SoundTouch?

  1. Set up your Bose SoundTouch. In a few steps, we’ll set up your Bose SoundTouch speaker.
  2. Step 1: turn on your smartphone or tablet.
  3. Step 2: plug the device into a socket.
  4. Step 3: download the Bose SoundTouch app.
  5. Step 4: open the app.
  6. Step 5: connect to the Internet.
  7. Step 6: connect to WiFi.
  8. Step 7: give your speaker a name.

Is SoundTouch discontinued?

As we are evolving our product assortment to better serve your needs, we are discontinuing sales of some SoundTouch products. We remain committed to support both the SoundTouch app and product software for the foreseeable future.

How do I connect my Bose SoundTouch app?

To add a system to your SoundTouch account:

  1. In the SoundTouch app menu, tap Settings.
  2. Tap Settings > Add or Reconnect Speaker.
  3. Tap Wi-Fi, then wait while the app searches for available networks.
  4. Go to the Wi-Fi settings of your device and connect to the Bose SoundTouch network:

Do you have to pay for Bose Connect app?

The free Bose Connect app lets you access additional product features and easily adjust product settings from your mobile device. Find out which products work with the app and how to get it.

Does SoundLink work with SoundTouch?

The SoundTouch Wireless Link can be used to adapt older Bose products with at least one of the supported connection options, including many SoundLink, SoundDock, Lifestyle, Wave, CineMate and Companion products.

Why can’t I connect to my Bose SoundTouch?

Go to the Bluetooth® menu in the device settings and remove your Bose product. Then, try connecting again. In the Bluetooth settings of the device, you should see a list of Bluetooth devices that have previously connected to the device. Locate your Bose product in the list and remove it.

How do I connect my Bose SoundTouch speaker to WIFI?

Enter Setup mode.

  1. On the top of your product, simultaneously press and hold the 2 and Vol- buttons.
  2. Wait until the Wi-Fi light glows solid amber, then release the buttons.
  3. For next steps, refer to the Bose app or instructions that asked you to enter Setup mode.
