Floris (with the troop trees) is basically an overhaul of the game minus a different map. Diplomacy is there, but there’s also new companions, new troop tree, etc. Probably one of the most popular mods for Warband, and for a reason.

How do I install Floris?
Clone the repository and checkout the develop branch:
- git clone https://github.com/NREL/floris.git cd floris git checkout develop. Install FLORIS with the developer add-ons.
- pip install -e ‘.[develop]’ Install the pre-commit utility:
- pre-commit install.
Is the Floris expanded mod save compatible?
This mod is not save compatible and you will need to start a new game for it to work. This mod is only made to work with Floris Expanded V2.54/V2.55, not Gameplay or Basic nor for older versions. All credit for the original mod goes to Monnikje, Duh, Caba`Drin, and all respective creators of mods used in Floris.
How do I add troops to Floris expanded?
Copy the troops.txt from the zip file to your Floris Expanded folder, usually located in the modules folder of the base Mount&Blade: Warband game. This mod is not save compatible and you will need to start a new game for it to work.
How to load textures on demand for Floris mod?
* As with any large Warband mod, it’s advised in the starter to go to Configure -> Video and tick ‘Load Textures on Demand’. * Since Floris is quite large, it might strain slower pc’s.
