Yes. But there is an example of Tyranids not following their normal consumption modus and instead of eating the Genestealer cultists, and are ignored entirely by them.

That’s why there is freebooter’s orks, who got banned from their clan, because they started worshiping Khorne instead of Gork and Mork. Khorne keeps orks for his amusement, but they generally ignore the largely human pantheon of chaos gods.

If you spend the CP, a Mawloc becomes a bit scarier thanks to being a Monster and being able to reroll wounds with the Stratagem.
