It is very distinct on its own and would be great as a solo drink. It’s sweet at the back of the throat and offers a lot of warmth. I’m not the biggest scotch fan because of the peat but I thought this was drinkable, even for me. Islay Mist Blended Scotch Whisky also comes aged 10 and 12 years.
