GRID 2 utilises a multiplayer system that is completely separate to the single player portion of the game. We want to bring the best of online gaming to the racing genre and a dedicated, distinct game is the only way we could achieve what we wanted.
How do you get more cars in GRID 2?
In the singleplayer mode, more GRID 2 Cars can be unlocked by progressing through the game, meaning that they become available at certain points in a career, but they also need to be unlocked via vehicle challenges, since the game offers players this choice from time to time.
Is the GRID 2 free?
GRID 2 released all the way back in 2013 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The game is free now on PC through Steam, which you can get here.
Does GRID 2 online still work?
As is usually the case with Steam’s delisted games, anyone who owned Grid 2 already will be able to download it in perpetuity. The next game in the series, confusingly called GRID, will be out on October 11.
