What happened to GoPeds?
The original model created in that garage, is now owned by the Smithsonian Institution. Over the years Go-Ped’s have been refined and improved its designs for their ergonomics, form, function, and handling through testing, racing, and pushing our machines to the limits.
Are GoPeds still being made?
GoPed still made their scooters the same way they did 20 years ago. Their high quality scooters are built tough and extremely reliable. Nevertheless, the GoPed culture is kept alive via many enthusiast groups that are still modifying and racing their GoPeds. Thank you for the memories, Steve Patmont and family!

Nothing fancy is an under-statement. The Sport is the oldest scooter still produced by Patmont Motor Werks and has gone through three generations of engines: the Zenoah G2D-58, the Zenoah G23LH and the Chung Yang GPL290.
