Lumb falls is beautiful for picnics and wild swimming. Beautiful pools to swim in suitable for adults and children but obviously supervised.
Where do you park for Lumb hole falls?
Much of the area surrounding the site is private land so please stick to the public rights of way. You can start the walk from the parking area on Hebden Bridge Road just to the east of the falls at Gib Slack. From here you follow footpaths west for about half a mile to reach the falls at Crimsworth Dean Beck.

We reach the falls by descending on a footpath, past sheep grazing on a field of cabbages, early morning dew and damp stone walls. Signs of popularity are there to see: a fallen tree is scuffed smooth by boots that have kicked up against it, next to the ash from a small fire.
