Choose a Backup Class In case you do not get into the class for which you are waitlisted, enroll in a back up class. You can choose to set up a Swap between your back up class and your waitlisted class. This will automatically drop the back up class if you are able to get into the waitlisted class.

It depends. Many times classes have students who register and then drop the class before the term begins. If you are near the top of the waitlist and there is still a few days before the class begins, it is likely that you may get a seat in the class.

When there are more qualified applicants than can be instructed by the faculty or accommodated in the facilities, the Graduate Studies Committee may deny admission to students who have met the prescribed requirements. As soon as your admission decision is official, it will be posted to MyStatus.
