How long does Bilstein suspension last?
If you garage it most of the time and are mostly highway driving, no towing, and drive like a grandpa/grandma, then 100K seems quite reasonable. I have about 20K on my 5100s and they feel as good as when I installed them. I’d expect them to last at least 75K.

I prefer stainless steel to painted shock bodies because they hide dirt better and won’t get chipped/flake over time. These are the real deal, so if you’re looking for a great pair of shocks; Bilstein 5100’s are the bomb!
Are Bilstein struts any good?
These struts are solid. The Bilstein shock is an amazing shock. No complaints but 4wheel parts sent me a pair of used/returned shocks they still worked so I kept them but never again. Exactly what I was needing only issue was appon installation the price on the website estimation on install cost was off by a factor of 10.

What are the benefits of Bilstein rear suspension?
With the Bilsteins, the rear would compress in a controlled manner, then smoothly rebound to normal ride height in a single fluid motion with no bounce or over travel. The rebound control also greatly improved ride and handling on gravel roads that often get washboard bumps, which are often the worst entering and exiting a turn.
