Who needs hazardous materials training?
All HazMat personnel working at industries that transport, ship, or receive hazardous materials are required to complete DOT Hazardous Material Safety and Security training. This includes employees that unload, handle, label, or prepare/read shipping manifests.

The nine hazard classes are as follows:

The course is designed to be self-paced. You will have 30 days to complete it and can come and go as you need. After one month, you will need to re-enroll. Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a pdf certificate right away.
What do you learn in a hazardous waste course?
If you work with any kind of hazardous waste, this training is mandatory. In our hazardous waste course, you will learn basic toxicology, how to identify hazards and waste, how to follow regulations, how to properly store the wastes, how to fill out a hazardous waste manifest and more.
What kind of training do I need for hazardous material removal?
Depending on what kind of hazardous material removal you need to get done, you or your hazmat manager might need additional coursework, such as OSHA workplace hazards management training (WHMT), instruction about workplace emergencies involving hydrogen sulfide gas (H2S Alive), and/or training about the transportation of dangerous goods (TDG).
