Morningstar Equity Research Methodology. We believe that a company’s intrinsic worth results from the future cash flows it can generate. The Morningstar Rating for stocks identifies stocks trading at a discount or premium to their intrinsic worth—or fair value estimate, in Morningstar terminology.
What is the Morningstar report?
The Morningstar Rating for Funds, often called the Star Rating, is a data-driven rating that measures how well a fund has performed compared to similar funds. Funds with at least a 3-year record will receive a rating of 1 to 5 stars.
Where can I find Morningstar reports?
You can also access the Morningstar Report when viewing an investment list or screen in a data set. To do this, click the arrow to the right of the security and from the Action menu, select Morningstar Report.
