Our classes are based on a curriculum by the AHA. CPR online courses offered by our company guide a student in learning these valuable skills. Our card is accepted by ILCOR, which means it is accepted in all member countries worldwide.
Is getting CPR certified online legit?
CPR certifications and first aid training are unregulated. OSHA doesn’t state who can provide CPR training, only that online-only training is insufficient. There’s no national CPR accreditation to vouch for legitimacy. That’s true of the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, and websites offering courses.
Is CPR and BLS the same certification?
Basic life support (BLS) includes CPR but is an overall higher level of medical care typically administered by public safety professionals, first responders, paramedics, healthcare providers, and qualified bystanders.
Is the AHA accredited?
The American Heart Association is the American liaison to the ECC/ILCOR. The fact that training providers such as ProTrainings (ProCPR), ASHI and the Red Cross are not accredited, approved or recognized by the AHA does not mean that they are not valid forms of certification.

Achieving an AHA certification demonstrates to patients, health care organizations, and the public, that the health care professional has met national performance standards specific to their job role. Certified in Healthcare Human Resources (CHHR)
Is EMS safety AHA certified?
Yes, EMS Safety is an equivalent program to the American Heart Association and American Red Cross. We follow the same guidelines set forth by the 2015 International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR).
