While we are at it, maybe we can find a solution too :p from my research it seems to be a problem with 2008 servers in VMWare. I deleted all the persist logs that were not cab format to free up space, and then I restarted and run a disk scan. No problems found and the files have’t been created again (except for the normal logs).
