I paid them $5,000.00 to build a home, in the process my loan did not go through due to low credit score, and I lost my job during the pandemic, I went on unemployment in August 2020, I pleaded with Hovnanian Homes for a refund, they refused to refund my hard earned money up till now. I do not encourage anyone to do business with this company.

I called K Hovnanian because it was under the warranty period and they refused to assist, even after the subcontractor that I hired gave me the nails that the builder used and showed me the correct sized nails that should have been used………… I saw an ad for this community and I was interested in purchasing a home.

If you are thinking about buying a home from Hovnanian at 9 ave port Imperial NJ beware. It is over a year my fiancé and I purchased a town house there. From the day we looked at the property we complained about a outside vent leaking on to the 2 nd bedroom window and on to our patio furniture below ruining now 2 sets of pillow from our set.
