All the Schilke standard characteristics make this an excellent mouthpiece for the legitimate musician to produce a full orchestral quality. Corresponds to the #15C4 but with a shallow “A” cup and tight “a” backbore for extreme upper register playing.

Is a 7C mouthpiece good?
As others have said, 7C is generally regarded as a good beginner size. As you go up in cup diameters, you’ll be able to put greater quantities of air through the mouthpiece and produce a bigger, louder tone, but you need to have developed the proper embouchure muscles and air support to make them work for you.
Are baritone and trombone the same?
As the two instruments have much the same range, the baritone can in principle play the trombone part. Tone quality is also different due to the baritone’s conical bore for a large part of the tube. As mentioned, the trombone produces a brighter tone than the baritone.
