You can sign up for the apartments through eLiving just like a normal dorm or suite. I lived in Nittany Apartments sophomore year because it was a great bridge between living in the dorms as a freshman and living off-campus as an upperclassman.

Each apartment accommodates four single students of the same gender. The apartments are fully furnished offer a living room and full kitchen.

South Halls offers perhaps the most central location on campus. Most of the dorms in South Halls are occupied by sororities and upperclassmen, leaving freshmen to live in Atherton, Simmons, and McElwain Halls. All three halls aren’t renovated but still offer spacious rooms.

Where do most freshman live at Penn State?
