Conditions for entitlement You must have been member of an unemployment insurance fund (A-kasse) for at least one year. You must have earned/have had a gross income of at least DKK 243,996 (amount applicable in 2021) during the last 3 years (in total) for full-time insured or DKK 162,660 if you are part-time insured.
How do you become a member of Kassa?
Everyone who has worked has the right to join an a-kassa. Akademikernas a-kassa is the only a-kassa for everyone who has 150 university credits or more – at least a bachelors degree. If you are currently studying with the aim of 180 university credits, you are welcome to join us straight away.

- You do need to have a general work permit to be eligable for membership.
