The area and views wow. THE CAR PARK IS FREE. Dunvegan is not the most beautiful Castle of Scotland, but has a very interesting history of the MacLeod, built in the 18th century.

In addition to Dunvegan Castle, the Clan has also owned a few other Scottish Castles over the years including Cadboll Castle, Knock Castle, Dunscaith Castle, and Duntulm Castle. Many of these castles are now either in ruins or now owned by other clans.
